“Happy women’s day to all wonderful women .. Shine on …not just today but everything. ”Manaswini foundation celebrated women’s day with its members. On this occasion various competitions were organised.Such competitions provide a platform where participants, showcase their own unique talents.The motive is not only winning the competitions but creating a culture where participants can share their passion, support, respect and learn from each other. Event was started with general knowledge questions and about NGO and its activities.
“Show your talent” competition received good response, participants presented dance, classical songs, mimicry, poetry, acting etc. Harsha Naigavkar got 1st prize, Priya Gawai got 2nd prize and Vandana Vyas got 3rd prize respectively. ”Every Woman is a queen”, participants expressed their views on the above topic, Yogita Deshmukh got first prize, Rani Poshettiwar got second prize and Noopur Chatterji was third Winner. Dress theme for the program was to ‘Drape sari in innovative style”. All members wore sarees in various innovative ways, Winners were Ifrah Ahamad and Aruna R. Competitions were judged by Aparna Goverdhan and Shilpa Rahate. Large numbers of members were present to celebrate Women’s day.
